Are you submitting within the promotion period?
Each rebate promotion is valid for a particular length of time. Consumers must purchase the product within the promotion period, and submit the form to the address given by a specified date.
Confirm the "date of receipt" deadline:
Submissions should be mailed between 7 - 10 days before the submission deadline to allow for mail delays. Please note the rebate sponsor is not responsible for lost, damaged, misdirected or delayed submissions.
Have you purchased the correct product?
Your rebate form should list the exact product size, model, color or flavor. The specific UPC may even be indicated on your form, so make sure that the product you purchased matches the description on the rebate form.
Are there any location restrictions for the rebate offer?
Some rebates are limited to specific retailers, regions or countries. If no reference is made to a specific location, then the offer is available to any consumer who has purchased the product.
How many rebates or what dollar value are you eligible for?
There may be limits to the number of rebates or dollar value that you may receive for each promotion. Check to be sure that you have not exceeded the maximum number or amount indicated.
Do you require an original rebate form?
Some rebates require that you use an original form that has been supplied by the rebate sponsor.
